STA Travel has partnered with The Foundation for Global Scholars with a $10,000 financial contribution to support GRIT scholars.
This financial award from STA is called the “Start the Adventure” scholarship, which offers:
- Two $2,500 scholarships for two GRIT scholars for the international experience portion of the program ($5000 total)
- STA GRIT scholars receive $500 more for their international experience than the traditional GRIT scholarship
- Two $2,500 scholarships for recipient’s home university or alma mater ($5000 total)
STA will select the STA GRIT scholars from the pool of GRIT Program applicants.
